Top Social Networking Apps on iOS in Spain Q4 2024

In the fourth quarter of 2024, the social networking landscape on iOS in Spain saw diverse trends across the top five apps. Data from Sensor Tower provides insights into their performance.

Grindr - Gay Dating & Chat from Grindr LLC showed a significant increase in weekly revenue, peaking at around $56.8K by the end of December. Downloads were relatively stable, hovering around 1.6K weekly, while active users fluctuated, ending the quarter at approximately 80.9K.

Azar: Video Chat, Meet Friends by Hyperconnect LLC experienced a notable rise in downloads, reaching over 12K in the final week of December. Revenue saw a peak of about $27K at the quarter's close, and active users increased steadily, ending at nearly 60K.

Telegram Messenger from Telegram FZ-LLC maintained strong active user numbers, consistently above 3.2M. Revenue peaked at around $21K in the last week of December, with downloads showing a decline toward the end of the quarter, reaching roughly 27K.

Skype by Skype Communications S.a.r.l faced a decrease in both revenue and downloads, with figures dropping to $4.1K and around 2K, respectively, by the end of the year. Active users also saw a decline, ending at approximately 81K.

BIGO LIVE-Live Stream, Go Live from BIGO TECHNOLOGY PTE. LTD. experienced a downturn in both revenue and downloads, with the latter falling to around 439, while active users decreased to about 5.5K by the quarter's end.
